Pioneer T-1000S is a high-end, three-head stereo cassette deck originally released in 1991 for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). It is technically identical to the internationally released Pioneer CT-93, which was the flagship model of Pioneer's "Elite" line at the time.
- Flagship Heritage: Known as one of Pioneer's finest decks, it features a copper-plated chassis to minimize electromagnetic interference.
- 3-Head Design: Utilizes Laser Amorphous recording and reproducing heads paired with a double-gap ferrite erasing head.
- Reference Master Mechanism: Employs Pioneer’s high-precision transport system for stable tape travel and low wow and flutter.
- Advanced Noise Reduction: It was among the early high-end decks to feature Dolby S, in addition to standard Dolby B and C. It also includes HX Pro headroom extension.
- Super BLE/Flat System: Features an automated "Super BLE" (Bias, Level, Equalization) calibration system that optimizes recording parameters for each specific tape used.
